Coffee Couple
You turned as I walked in from behind.
For a brief moment, our eyes locked and I peered into your soul.
In that instant, I witnessed your hopes, your dreams and your desires.
Falling into these chocolate pools, I saw myself.
My body is slipping away and I am losing my very being. I don't understand why.
You are consuming me, devouring my heart with your chaotic beauty.
Your smile, I can feel.
Your excitement, I can taste.
Take all of me now or I will disappear forever!
Only you can save me.
Only you can........
love me
Fear overtakes me and I turn away.
Your sadness reaches out, but there is no turning back.
So badly, I want you.
So desperately, I need you.
The weight of your soul falls on me and I disappear.
